I had stopped smiling.
My selfies were filled with close-mouthed smiles and had to be quickly edited to erase the acne that surrounded my mouth even into my late thirties. It's hard to imagine that so much of me had been erased.
The more I hung out with you the more my smile started resurfacing. Soon after my laugh came back. And before anybody realized it, everybody had their Mandy back.
Everybody's watching her, but she's looking at you.
